Rock climbing is a centuries-old outdoor sport. Indoor climbing is its artificial, safer counterpart, allowing people to enjoy climbing throughout the year regardless of weather conditions. Compared to outdoor rock climbing, indoor climbing takes place in a highly controlled and safe environment.
It is important to note that in sport climbing, you climb with a rope, not on a rope. The rope does not assist the climber in ascending; in fact, it can make climbing more challenging. However, it is the primary safety feature that prevents serious falls.
Athletes holding a valid climbing competition license issued by the Hungarian Climbing Federation (MHSSZ) may use the facility regardless of age.
First, please read the Declaration of Personal Responsibility, the House Rules, and our Privacy Notice (GDPR). Then register for one of the available introductory sessions. During your first visit, we will teach you all the basic skills necessary for safe climbing in the facility.

The most important factor is following all safety rules and instructions. Proper warm-up before climbing is also essential. We recommend performing general mobility exercises, stretching, and dynamic warm-up exercises to prepare the entire body for climbing and reduce the risk of muscle strains and other injuries.
Finger injuries are among the most common climbing-related injuries. They can largely be prevented through gradual training, progressive strengthening, and by avoiding sudden excessive loading of the fingers.
A trained staff member is always present, and first aid is available at all times. When the safety rules are followed, the risk of injury is minimal. However, it is essential that all safety instructions are strictly observed.

Climbing is a sport that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and genders. Since both rock climbing and indoor climbing involve moving your body against gravity, carrying excess body weight can make climbing more physically demanding.
Climbing is a unique full-body activity that develops upper-body strength, arms, back, core muscles, fingers, and legs, while also improving balance, coordination, concentration, and problem-solving skills. It is as much a mental challenge as it is a physical one. Aktív Magyarország Program részeként valósult meg.
